About Us
Chinanga Safaris is an owner run and managed business. Based in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, the operation is ably run by Terry Fenn who has over 40 years hunting experience in southern Africa. Terry's experience and knowledge of the hunting areas will help ensure the correct selection of hunt areas for the animals desired.
Born and bred in Zimbabwe, Terry was a Game Ranger for National Parks and Wildlife Management for four years in the 1970's. He moved on to management of cattle/game ranching in both Zimbabwe (Nuanetsi Ranch) and in South Africa, as well as running small scale safari operations.
Terry furthered his experience in cattle and game ranging at Lemco Ranch (Pvt) Ltd in 1986. In 1990, he joined Rusty Labuschagne and Safari Trackers on Angus Ranch, Save Conservancy, running the game ranch and safaris. He ultimately wrote and acquired his full professional hunting licence in 1994, leaving Angus Ranch at the end of 1996.
Since 1996, Terry has been fully occupied in the safari industry, and has worked with most of the safari operators in Zimbabwe as well as some in Tanzania, South Africa and Botswana.
Chinanga Safaris also offers hunting safaris in Botswana and Tanzania.
